David Solomont is an experienced investor, advisor, and entrepreneur with over 40 years of experience in the software, technology, media, gaming, and transportation industries.
Over the course of his large career, Solomont has gained solid professional skills in business development, e-commerce, entrepreneurship, strategic planning, and venture capital.
As an experienced advisor, Solomont focuses on advising early-stage technology companies on business development, funding, mergers and acquisitions, and team building.
In 2018, this skilled entrepreneur has founded ev Transportation Services, Inc (“evTS”), where he serves as a Chairman and CEO. Besides evTS, Solomont has founded two other companies, Common Angels in 1998 and Business & Professional Software, Inc. in 1980.
Moreover, throughout the past 40, he has worked at a number of companies and institutions, to name a few: Museum of Science in Boston as an Overseer and member of the Information Technology Committee, Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council as a founding Trustee, and past Chairman, Museum of Fine Arts in Boston as a Technology Advisor to the Internet Working Group. Since 2018 he serves as Chairman at OYO Toys.
David Solomont has finished his high education at Maimonides School. After finishing high school, he enrolled at Tufts University. He graduated in 1979 and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Moreover, after graduating, David Solomont enrolled at the MIT Sloan School and finished his master’s studies in 1980. He holds a Master’s Degree in Management from this university.
